So, many months on from receiving the Idols of Torment Kickstarter, I printed some miniatures for the game.

The printing process for these minis was torturous, so many spindly parts that just don’t print well as well as being littered with print fails. I had the miniatures that survived the print process and the support removal primed and left in a box until I was ready to paint them.

They were primed with wraithbone at the time but I decided to respray them black and then dry brush, yet more bits got snapped off.

I do sometimes wonder if I will go back to resin printing again.

I needed to finish these quick as I may actually be playing Idols of Torment next weekend so I opted for slap chop and went to town.

I give you the parrot titty demon, no need to thank me

There’s a few more, that’s the beauty of contrast paints you really can bang stuff out. I tend to use contrast over speed or express paints. This is only because I am more familiar with them and know how they will behave.

I need to spend some time playing around with the other two a bit more. I like what I have seen so far and that’s for another project.
