About the Project
While finishing Jain Zar I came to the conclusion to build a small craftworld eldar army. I got alot of stuff cheap of ebay still in frame (very old kits but workable) The aim is a 1200p army as we like smaller games. Biel Tan the swordwind was my last Warhammer army back in the 5th edition so I decidet to again play the most agressive craftworld.

Avatar of Khaine
Painting this mini was a mess. Im not used to painting osl with airbrush and mine was a very cheap one.
Nonetheless this was quiet fun and at distance this is a nice centerpiece for my army.
I wanted him to look a bit mor sinister so I dont painted all the trims of the gemstones in nice metal colours and instead make him look like the cloth and hair are the only materials that are not part of his body.
Serpent and Avatar
Started on the Avatar of Khaine and the Serpent. I still have 2 war war walkers wip.
Howling banshees done
Finally the banshees are done and with them all infantry models.
Now of to the vehicles (and some nurgle distraction)
Banshees wip
Finylly I recieved some banshees to bild up my last infantry unit.
I love these sculpts and had much fun painting the bright hair.
first infantry units done
The first three units are done.
Next up are the howling banshees to accompany Jain Zar and then I can finally paint the vehicles and the Avatar.
Troops part 2
2nd unit done. The guardian defenders with their lovely little hover gun.
test colours for vehicles
On the weapon platform of the guardians I played around for the vehicle colours.
I decided to go with freehand thorns and roses over white avoiding green on the smaller vehicles like war walkers. For the Serpent I propaply will do some green panels.
Troops
The stuff I aquired:
5 Dire Avengers
10 Guardians with their gun
2 War walkers
Avatar of Khaine
1 wave serpent
Baharroth and 5 swooping hawks (old metal)
Jain Zar
With Jain Zar done in a high display standard I decided to go with tabletop standard for the rest. Airbrush basecoat and shading helped alot.
