About the Project
Ive long had desire to play Kings Of War. I dabbled years ago but then Conquest came along and i got distracted. Now i find i cant face building another large rank and flank army so Kings of Wars Champions poses an interesting option. Im going to dive in with the premise that everything is painted as quickly as possible. It’s a bank holiday weekend and the Northern Alliance box has arrived, let’s see how quickly I can get these done, shortcuts and Brainmatter Beige all the way!

After an annoying interruption via a weekend away it’s finally time to finish the big (little) man! Matt varnish and some basing bits and the force is completed!!
Annnnd done. Now for some Basileans!!

Next up its the first of the 2 characters, powered by crowtein, its the ultimate bodyguard. Brock Brockersen!

So, in the box there are two regiments of ten models. One with spears and one with swords so one paint scheme will work for both. After priming with black and a Halfords Khaki zenith its time to start!
As speed is of the essence with these I’m not worrying about the finer details, I’ll just let the magic of beige pick out any highlights.
Next up it’s a fifty fifty mix of quick shade medium and strong tone. Also they were then given a coat of AK Ultramat. Next up is the basing. I painted the base with Stirland mud and then primed with a Matt white primer 
And after a bit of base tart up they are glued and done!
