Sidetracked
Paul Bonner - Tyranid Processing CentreI’ve been looking at some old artwork for inspiration for making Squig Swarms (Ripper Swarms)
So instead of making the Combat Patrol stuff I’m playing about making weird little things.
The plan is to use 40mm bases with a selection of different creatures on. I’m trying to make an interesting little scene on each base.
Big & Small
I’m combining my Psychophage with the Hive Tyrant. The aim is to make a flying ant type thingy.
Squig Swarms were once a thing. So I’m kitbashing together some Crypt Ghouls & Genestealers. (These kits are not included in the Combat Patrol)
Prednid WIP
I opted for the Genestealer claw hands rather than the more human hands. Because of this I chose to add a wrist tentacle rather than a wrist blade.
Just got some tidying up and more work on the shoulder cannon to do now.
Predalien
Kitbashing the Tyranid Prime into a Predator. A bit like the Predalien!?
The basic idea is to put the Parasite of Mortrex’s head on the Prime Tyranid’s body. Then maybe use Genestealer arms. (Genestealers not included in the Combat Patrol)
The Predator style shoulder cannon and the Wristblade are probably going to be the hardest part of the build.
