About the Project
I have never completed a full army for 40k even though I have collected bits and pieces for years. This is my first attempt at a real fully painted army. Any and all constructive criticism and advise is welcome and indeed wanted.

XV109 Y'Vahra Battlesuit
Finally got round to doing some more painting and have just about finished the XV109 Y’Vahra Battlesuit.
Just about finished the R'Varna
Assembled and nearly finished, just needs a few touch ups here and there and finished basing.
Adding detail and experimenting with weathering effects
Went back to using a brush to add some more detail to the pin washing and I’ve also experimented with adding some weathering effects with the airbrush … for a beginner I am actually really please with what I’ve achieved.
First forays into airbrushing the R'varna
I bought myself an airbrush!!! Used it to base coat the R’Varna, hard to see the difference as it Ulthuan Grey over a white base coat but I am very pleased with how easy and quick the base coating was. Then experimented with a pin wash and highlight again with the airbrush.
I must say I am am pleased with the result 🙂
