About the Project

In this project I'm trying to finish my Haqqislam collection. After a quick start, I hit the hobby slump. Now I'm going to pick it up again.

This model was sitting half painted on my desk for over a year! I finally got back to it and finished the model. The problem was the green and red combination, which was a little to Christmas at first. Now I think its ok.

I wanted something different to paint. So I picked up a bountyhunter. Always usefull in any army and a good opportunity to try a different colorpallet.

Thanks to the guys at Redgrass I am now the proud owner of the Everlasting Wet Pallet painter set. This nice tool will help me stop mid painting to take care of daily activities without wasting my paint. I have tried it and it’s real easy to use. This was a Kickstarter but is now available at their website.

As you can see I choose a really dark camo to contrast with his hair and body armour.

I call this one done. I did the same recipe for the base without any concrete. The cloak is done in a dotted pattern camo. I'll take some close-ups next time. I call this one done. After the decals I finished the bases by adding some sand and a few stones. I coated the sand with fleshwash (citadel) and then dry-brushed them with Vallejo pale sand.  For the finishing touch I added ochre pigment to replicate a desert world.
