A Deadly Hydra Comes To Life From Otherworld

Otherworld Miniatures have shown off a mighty Hydra that is going to be available soon via their webstore. John Pickford is the sculptor and at a whopping seven inches long it's quite the deadly dungeon dwelling denizen...
The model has the look of a crocodile in its body shape but with more obviously draconic heads. It will be interesting to see what else they do to the model as it nears completion.
I don't think that I've ever really looked at using Hydras in games apart from the likes of Dark Elf armies in Warhammer Fantasy. I guess they continue to be overshadowed by the likes of Dragons and Wyverns.

I like otherworld miniatures, but I think this looks terrible…..I have now doubt it matches the MM first edition, but it just doesn’t look right.
I expect far better than this from Otherworld.
I like the heads, but the necks and body leaves me cold. Sorry.
