Pre-Order Steamforged’s New Tales Of The Valiant RPG Starter Set

Steamforged Games are taking pre-orders for a new Starter Set for those seeking to dive into the Tales Of The Valiant roleplaying game. Working alongside Kobold Press, Steamforged Games has produced a great entry point into this D&D adjacent tabletop roleplaying game.

Tales Of The Valiant: Starter Set // Steamforged Games

Tales Of The Valiant has been designed for a novice Game Master or new player to bring their group into the world that Kobold Press has created. Using the Black Flag Roleplaying system, which is fully compatible with Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (5E), you can dive in and start playing out some epic adventures.

If you've played Dungeons & Dragons then you'll feel right at home. It makes use of the classic d20 system but with a few tweaks and changes from Kobold Press to make it more epic and heroic whilst also unlocking the option for people to start crafting their own content to fit into their world.

The Starter Set comes with everything that you need to get started including a set of detailed plastic miniatures representing the original three Valiant heroes by Kobold Press plus a new character crafted for the set.

You will also get a "Welcome To Roleplaying" guide for complete newbies alongside a full rules reference and two adventures from the Tales Of The Valiant world. There is also a battle map, a set of polyhedral dice, character sheets and a set of full-colour tokens which are going to be handy amid gameplay.

It's great to see Steamforged working with more partners like this to produce neat introductory sets for roleplaying games and more. Starter Sets really do offer a good way to dive into something unfamiliar, especially if you've never taken on a roleplaying game before!
