Arrrrrrrrggggg, Matey's! CoolMiniOrNot has launched Rum & Bones on Kickstarter and it is already funded! If you are a fan of all things pirate, then you don't want to miss out on this one!

2-6 players face off in an exciting board game where each player, errrr, pirate, is locked in battle with each other's pirate ship. The ultimate goal is to board the other player's ship and disable it, thus proving they are the more superior pirate!

Each faction has five types of Heroes at their disposal: Captain, Quartermaster, Swashbuckler, Gunner and Brute. Each of these roles has its own general place in the battle. However, each Hero is still unique, with their own set of attacks, abilities, and reactions to crush the enemy or give their crew the push they need! The mini's come unpainted, with some really nice detail!

Besides the Heroes, there is a steady flow of Deckhands and Bosuns that are not directly controlled by the Heroes and continually appear as a mob of pirates charging toward the enemy! It's up to the Heroes to figure out a way to shift the balance to their side and take the other ship.

The Wellsport Brotherhood and Bone Devils factions included in the core box also have access to unique powers via their Tide Decks. The 30 cards in these decks (most of them unique to each faction) can be played at different times, bringing about unexpected effects, surprise attacks, welcome boosts, or even summon a Sea Dragon! Just beware that these startling abilities might just attract the attention of that mythical terror from the depths, the Kraken!

Just look at all the goodies that come with this game! And to think, they are funded already! Bring on the stretch goals!
