Dark Age Goes Digital With Downloadable Core Rules
August 22, 2013 by dracs
While I still prefer to own physical copies of rule books there can be no denying that having a digital copy can be very useful. Therefore I am rather excited by the announcement that the core rules for the dystopian game of Dark Age are now available to download.
The great thing about having the rules of the game free to download is that it now allows people to try before they buy, getting a few games using proxies before deciding whether or not to get into the game more fully.
This digital copy of the rules also provides you with enough background to leave you truly curious about the world, while throughout it can be found examples of Dark Age's awesome and creepy artwork.
Will you be downloading these rules to try out the game? What is your view on digital copies being freely available?

I like the idea but there is still no real UK vendor support for this game and still no will from the people producing Dark Age to find a good vendor in the UK for it. Kinda sick of saying this. Good idea. Inventive minis. No support in UK. Simply a waste of space and time for BoW to give this any attention what so ever.
I downloaded them and will give them a try. I love the implimentation of free or inexpensive rulesets. I have purchased many rulebooks based on being able to try them out first, and more importantly passed on others that just weren’t worth the coin.
