Feast of Games: Libertalia

Time for another new show! Warren has been itching to get some more gaming under his belt, so he's grabbed Stu, Gav and Jim to play a game of Libertalia. This high stakes, high seas adventure should have the guys running for the nearest port (and I don't mean the local dock's!).
Come join us as we embark on a voyage of plunder, backstabbing and keelhauling madness...
Please everyone like this new show, it means Justin gets fed more than once a month!
Loved it, I like the longer videos especially with actual gameplay. Keeps the brain going while doing boring but necessary painting, ie rank and file troops footwear. Any chance of doing the Battlestar board game at some point, I keep hearing how good it is.
That seemed to be really fun. Not only the game, but I envy you guys for having such good friends. I enjoyed the banner between the four of you better than the game. Sure you don’t want to fly me out there to sweep floors or something? Can’t wait until the next game.
It was fun 🙂
Trick to turn that into a show though so this format may not be for everyone 🙂
Thanks for watching
How about Relic next week?
Just before midnight when I clicked on this. Thought I’d watch half tonight and half tomorrow, ended up watching the lot. Looks like a great game and I hope this show becomes a regular feature as I reckon i could jump right in and play this game now without having read the rules.
Oh and please throw Justin a ships biscuit
it is a great game and if the format is popular we will definitely carry Feast of Games forward.
Hope to film the next ep before tabletop day
No idea what it will be Jim will surprise us. 🙂
I was thinking of maybe Operation or Snakes & Ladders…..
^ say a big hello to Jim folks!
Or hit him with anthumbs up for being a great host 🙂
A big hello to Jim folks! 😛
Nice one Jim. Look forward to seeing what is in store next time.
The food and drink could be. . . erm . . “interesting” if the game is Operation! O.o
Offal and snake bites for starters…….could be colourful
I was thinking liver with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.
As long as it’s not meatballs!
or sausage.
Great format and very entertaining. I look forward to any other Feast of Games you are thinking of doing.
I am only 5 mins into the video and I am upset. I moved from UK to Canada 6 years ago and other than my family the only thing I miss is good ‘ol Fish n Chips. Y’all suck.
Anyway, sitting back to enjoy rest of video.
I guess it’s Bear steaks and Maple Syrup instead up there, right?
Great start to the series! I must say, I’m cringing at the idea of all those greasy, fishy fingers touching the various game parts. Still fun to watch! At least its not my game… 😉
Totally love that format. Granted, I’m all for extended shows and big content. But actually, I found it a lot easier to follow what’s going on here than in Wil Wheaton’s TableTop show where you have to pay attention all the time (in particular as a non-native speaker). Your take on it makes it possible to learn a game just by watching it played over several turns. Added to that, I enjoyed the banter quite a bit, which gives an actual feel of participating in a game with friends. Again, it didn’t come across as forced as (at times) in… Read more »
Chip Spice.
Did she leave the girl band just before they made it into the big time?
lol
I really enjoyed this format. It is always good to see games being played rather than just a description of them. Hmmm game related food and drink!? I play Talisman a lot with a group of friends…any suggestions?
Mead and meat!
Like big turkey leg bits of meat…. And mead in tankards…
I have to say that I enjoyed that show and look forward to more
Great idea/show. Can’t wait fer more
That was fantastic fun chaps, i thoroughly enjoyed it, more please.
And could i suggest venison and absinth for the feast of war empire of the dead show.
I’ll be honest. I haven’t liked the direction that some of the BoW shows have been heading in so far, but this was a bloody awesome.
Almost like TableTop for grown ups. lol
Agree – game already on order (via the smuggler channel islands), found some generic doubloons too for a few quid; can’t wait to play.
Nice pace – clever editing to speed up last couple of weeks.
Great show guys, best >1 hour viewing i’ve seen in ages. Game looks great also!
Just got a game of this with my boardgame gang this weekend and the game is great. Nice to see another new show as well. Keep on rokkin the free world.
