Plan Your Infinity Squad In Style With Army 4.0
April 19, 2013 by brennon
If you're one of those peoples who enjoys working digitally when creating an army list and you also happen to play Infinity then you'll most likely have used Army Infinity 3.0 to do so. Well, it's now had a facelift and Army 4.0 is now ready...
The new look Army Builder allows you to configure the complete range of different factions for the tabletop and it will all be a lot more readable than the scrawls you were previously making on scrap paper!
It certainly looks snazzy and should be a great help for people trying to look things up on the fly too. Added functions also include:-
- Spec Ops Editor
- Max Skorpio Profile
- New tools for searching troops by weapon, skill, category
- New points tool that allows you to search for the troop profile that will fit into your list.
- Hyperlinks to the INFINITY Rules Wiki.
The design is easy to navigate and comes in a range of languages too so you should have no problem using it. You can also save, print and share army lists through this which is always handy.
Will you be making use of this when you go to your next Infinity game?
Woohoo its about time!
Not sure if it will tear me away from Aleph Toolbox though. Only time will tell I guess
This is great and just in time for the summer tournament scene.
I never used this. I might as well give it a try now that a new version is out.
Aleph toolbox, free updates every month, also doesn’t crashif you select thewrong troop amd try to remove it from your list. Also like the fact it tells you what you’ll hit on and the fact youcan take a picture of your board and place your troop icons on it
Wow ! Superb…
Facelift is an understatement, the functionality has been vastly increased, troop searches in particular is a really big favorite of mine!
I started with this and it was fantastic. Was using Aleph Toolbox while the updates and reprogramming took place. Am glad to see the final product is much better and more streamlined than I thought it would be.
Why does this only seem to work under Windows? Was it not tested on a Mac at all?
Works fine for me on a Mac. Make sure your adobe flash player is up to date.
Yup, 11.7.700.
Shockwave flash though, on Firefox 20. I see the same in Safari though?
I like it. Someone above mentioned Aleph Toolbox, and I have used that whilst the previous version of this stopped being updated, and I do like that as well, especially as a chrome add on thingy, but this is a very nice looking builder, and history says it will only get better as time goes on.
Personally I think its great that not only do we get free army builders for infinity, we actually get a choice of them. Compare that situation with any other game out there , malifaux is the only other one I know that has the option.
It’s seems the only downside is that it doesn’t support the campaign.
I love it but I wish it had better settings for printouts. I can no longer do two column or hid certain troops like camo troops or AD troops.
I absolutely love the ability to view troops by price and weapon.
