Puppets War Fly in the Troops
March 25, 2013 by dracs
Some of you may remember Puppets War's latest flyer the Dragonfly Aircraft. Now Puppets War have announced that the troop carrier version will soon be appearing in their store.
I'm not entirely sure what I think about this. On the one hand it looks rather out of place under the Dragonfly, with the aircraft just being extended a few inches to accommodate it.
On the other hand it does look practical and robust, and for once with miniature troop carriers it looks as if it is designed to actually contain the models it is supposed to be transporting.
What do you guys think of Puppets War's troop carrier? Yay or nay?

Did I hear someone say “METAL BOXES”? Because I thought I heard someone say “METAL BOXES”?
You may have misheard me.
I was saying building site Portacabin which could in fairness sound like METAL BOXES from where you are bombkangaroo.
not sure about it just slung underneath like that, doesn’t quite look right.
however it might make a nice command bunker on it’s own though.
I see a mesh together of AT-99 “Scorpion” Gunship from Avatar and DR-4 Viking Dropship from SST. I like functional design and it looks like it could take a few hits dropping into a hot LZ.
‘Express Elevator To Hell’ option with underslung APC would be kewl.
Definate yay.
It seems to make more sense than the stuff we see from other companies.
It looks to me that the pod underneath detachable reminds me of Thunderbird 2
Reminds me of the troop drop ships from space above and beyond. if I still had a guard army I would use these as valks
