First Chance To Grab Gundam Assemble Minis With Card Game!

Gundam Assemble, the new miniatures game, previewed by Bandai earlier in the year, will be coming to tabletops, not this year in 2025, but in 2026. Sad times for John! However, the Gundam Card Game IS coming out this summer and this will be your first chance to get your hands on some of the figures from Gundam Assemble! Happy times for John?
2026 Launch // Gundam Assemble
The Gundam Card Game is going to be landing in a few months with a whole host of different sets for you to choose from. Each gives you different starting experiences but also comes alongside a miniature from Gundam Assemble. You can see how the folks at Bandai are going to be breaking it down in the image below...

So, as you can see, each of the Starter Sets that will be dropping in mid-July will end up coming up with different figures that fit the theme. You'll also note that the Starter Sets come with three figures for you to assemble. For example, the Heroic Beginnings Set comes with TP-001 Gundam, TP-002 Guncannon and TP-003 Guntank.

You can go and check out the other miniatures from the sets on the links here - Wings Of Advance, Zeon's Rush, SEED Strike. Bandai has done some interesting things with the images so it's best to go and view them there.

It's all shaping up to be an intriguing couple of years for fans of Gundam and miniatures games.

I know John is very eager to get stuck in and try out the miniatures game. This could be a good entry point for others who have been Gundam-curious but didn't want to work with some of the bigger kits. Something more familiar in the form of a "wargaming miniature" might be the bridge that Bandai need to get more people interested. It will be cool to see how Gundam Assemble plays and hopefully, we'll get more previews in the next few months!

Miniature game in 2026 but card game with the same minis in 2025… *throws money at screen*
Hmm, I’m very tempted to get two sets, Heroic Beginnings and Zeon’s Rush (staying in the Universal Century universe). I’m loving those mini Zaku models.
Who knows, by then I might have watched the other Gundam series and suddenly I’ll be excited about picking up the other two sets as well.
It all depends on price and availability.
Watching the how to play video, you would think that they have an electronic version of the card game to. It does look like an interesting system.
I want this for the models; the cards don’t do anything for me, honestly.
I also just dropped $2k on motorcycle parts and gear, and have found a hobby even more expensive than GW… I didn’t know such a thing existed.
Does the manufacturer also expect you to buy a new set of manuals every other year so that you can make the most out of your hobby experience?

Oh, one set of Zakus and another including the Tallgeese and a pair of Leos you say? Plus a card game? And at a price that’s not unreasonable at all? Put me up for pre-order for those, please.
