Cool Mini or Not have released a new steampunk board game in which you and three friends work as agents of Queen Victoria in the sinister Shadow Market. Prepare to explore the streets of London in SMOG: On Her Majesty's Service.

Smog

Based in The World of Smog by Panache Animation, On Her Majesty's Service is a competitive board game where players are assigned  quests by Queen Vicky herself.

Each player must try to collect and sell Ether in order to obtain four essential artifacts, going up against and manipulating the Shadow Market's Shadow Agents and attempting to navigate the constantly shifting and rotating tiles that make up the board.

SMOG Set Up

The dynamic of the shifting board is a particularly interesting piece of gameplay as Cool Mini Or Not have said that where a player sits around the board will matter, changing prices, etc. as the board changes.

The World of Smog is a particularly rich and vibrant steampunk setting to explore, with some excellent artwork and game pieces bringing it to life, not to mention the wealth of background available from Panache themselves.

The Dragon

This world is the same one that Smart Max previously provided superb miniatures for, as well as a fun little game. With that range sadly discontinued, it is good to see that we are once again able to game in Smog's sinister streets and I hope we will see more of it in the future.

Dare you venture out into ye olde London town On Her Majesty's Service?
