Abyssinia’s Lord Of Steel Flies To The Other Side

Wyrd Games have shown off a commander who will be leading the forces of Abyssinia in The Other Side; the master of fight and flight, The Lord of Steel.
The Lord of Steel is the title of Abyssinia's greatest warrior, with the current holder being Yokowo Yemo.
He flies around the battlefield on a jetpack made especially for him and wields the Spear of Ages, complete with embedded soulstone to give his strikes a little more power.
"On the tabletop, the Lord of Steel is a fast, melee based Commander. Unlike many Commanders, the Lord of Steel leads from the front and possesses no inherent way to improve his Company. Instead, he makes use of his mobility and Stratagems to ensure that his troops are fighting at optimum capacity."

It sounds as though The Lord of Steel could be a challenging commander to use, but very rewarding if utilised correctly. Plus that miniature design looks pretty cool, with a real commanding presence to the pose.

The other side looks like a lot of fun (I bloody hope it is I backed it in the kickstarter) . The lord of steel is a great looking character and I look forward to destroying him on the tabletop
Nice sci-fi model. I hope you get the option to have him with mask and with helmet as the art shows him.
