Games Workshop revealed a great duo for fans of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. The mighty Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters, has been transfigured and you can now get an impressive resin miniature from the folks at Forge World soon.

Angron Transfigured - Warhammer The Horus Heresy

Angron Transfigured // Warhammer: The Horus Heresy

This showcases a version of Angron who is halfway between the Primarch who led his Legion through the opening gambits of The Horus Heresy and the Daemon he has now become in Warhammer 40,000. It shows him during the closing months of The Horus Heresy, ready to strike down Sanguinius. He is a big new resin miniature with ragged wings, covered in chains and skulls from his various enemies.

You'll also note that the miniature comes on a rather fancy base with a dead Blood Angel at his feet; a nice touch and a sign of things to come. He is going to be an impressive new addition to someone's World Eaters army.

Mistress Of The Fleet - Lotara Sarrin

As well as Angron, you are also going to be able to get your hands on an impressive miniature for Lotara Sarrin who has long been in the background. She is a calm, level-headed and well-respected member of the legion who commands The Conqueror.

She refused to be cowed and she was a dedicated bridge officer plus she was also skilled with a blade. She was trained by Khârn himself which says something! Her power sword, the Conqueror's Bite, is ready to cut down a whole bunch of her enemies.

Both of these miniatures will get rules soon that will allow you to use them in Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. It should be fun to see what kind of scenarios people play out which could include both of these figures.

What do you make of this take on Angron and also Sarrin?
