The dune crawler sounds a bit like the pods in the matrix with the new occupant being fed the dead from other pods?
If I remember correctly the AI in titans were based on animals not humans like wolves, jackals, and the like also the fighters were hawks and eagles? so landraiders may be a elephant or bull? the robots may be bear or dog.
