THQ have released a teaser image for a new download which will be coming to Space Marine in January.
That's right your eyes do not deceive you, its a Dreadnought!
How this will play out in the game will be interesting to see, but I am sure that THQ will do these mighty behemoths justice.

If its more single player I might get it, but I gave up on space marines multi-player about 18 hours after I started.
If it’s included in the exterminatus game mode, maybe i’ll finaly be able to complete the kalkys escape map… that chaos wave…
Hm, I’m pretty sure I saw a trailer for Space Marine that included killa kans/deff dreads ages ago as well, either way, I hope we get to control a dreadnought and not just fight them:-P
be good if it was a new game mode, say 5 marines vs 1 guy whose the dreadnought, random who gets to be it. but it’s more likely to be some exterminatus boss.
Yeah I was hoping to see those Killa Kans show up in the final game but a lot got cut during development.
I hope that it’s incorporated into several game modes. Playable of course. Have a mode where one dread per team, then have the dread vs team of players match too. Life is unlikely to be that fair.
With the game running around the £12 mark now (XBox version) I may be tempted to buy it
