Incinerate Your Enemies With Forge World’s New Leman Russ

Forge World have put together some more new releases for you to enjoy as a Solar Auxilia player. Not only do they have a new Leman Russ to burn your enemies with but some foot troops in the shape of the Veletaris Storm Section...
First up we have said Leman Russ with a twin-linked volkite demi-culverin. Yep, I don't know what one of those is either. Apparently it will absolutely destroy infantry though so that's fun. I like the more high sci-fi look to it as well which isn't something you normally see with Warhammer 40,000 or 30,000.
The Incinerator will be supporting these chaps as they advance into combat too. The Veletaris Storm Section is armed with volkite chargers which are similar to the weapon on the top of the Incinerator. They're also encased in void armour. Not an overly good looking paint job from Forge World on these chaps but they do look rather detailed.

I have a feeling that this Leman Russ will work in a similar way to the Hellhound if it’s an anti-infantry unit. Pretty cool-looking models btw. 🙂
I have a squad of those guys and wow! The paint job does them no justice in the photo. These are quite possibly some of the best if not best infrantry sculpts forge world have ever done. The details are crisp. I hardly had to do any cleaning on them, if any. They are just fantastic models. I highly recommend these guys and the Lasrifle secation plus the troop transport. Forgeworld really have done a sterling job here!

The Leman Russ chassis looks so much better without sponsons in my opinion, that’s a great looking tank actually, as though it’s been ripped straight out of the pixelated world of Advance Wars! 🙂
That is one very fancy looking tank indeed. The turret and cannon in particular look great.
I also like the Veletaris Storm Section – I just love the ornate, slightly steampunk style of the armour, especially paired with the Volkite weaponry that looks like it was invented by some mad scientist or other.
