THQ have launched a trailer for their new downloadable multi-player Space Marine game, are you ready to join the KILL TEAM!
Warhammer 40,000 Kill Team is a fast paced third person shooter which sees you and your friends taking on the role of a unit of Space Marines who have been sent to deal with an Ork Kroozer which is heading straight for an Imperial Forgeworld.
Four classes will be available for you to play as:
- Sternguard Veteran
- Techmarine (my personal favourite)
- Vanguard Veteran
- Librarian
On top of this there are six Space Marine Chapters you can play as, oh I hope they have Dark Angels.
What? This is not enough I hear you cry? Well how about the chance to get a Power Sword in the upcoming game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine! If you manage to complete the first mission in Kill Team than you will get the option of wielding a mighty Power Sword in Space Marine's multi-player.
All this and more will be available to download in July for Xbox 360 and PS3 at the cost of 800 Microsoft Points or £9.99 respectively.
Personally, I can't wait!

This is a downloadable third-person arcade shooter coming out this month, you can unlock special items for the main Space Mairine game by playing it.

Also, it looks really, really boring. I’ve seen this format before and with THQ’s track record I’m not expecting all that much.

I love the idea of this. It’s like Deathwatch meets the ‘Last Stand’ mode from Dawn of War 2 – kinda epic. Be interesting to see what the Chapters are too choose from.
Exactly what a 40k game should be. Mindless destruction. I wasnt ASAP. Too bad it’s not on the PC.

This is VERY similar to a PC game called Alien Swarm that game out a year or so ago. So if you only have a PC I highly recommend trying it out. It’s 4 player co-op, class based, and has a RPG element of upgrading stats/weapons.
This is just more awesome since it’s the 40K universe and of course dual analog sticks for those of us who have consoles.
Had a chance to test this. Very fun game. Pretty stoked about it’s release.
Shame its not for pc 🙁

Well there’s definitely BA’s, Salamanders, and Ultramarines as 3 of the 6 chapters just from looking at the vid. Would be nice to see Templars in there 😀
