We don't usually pay much attention to the digital releases from Black Library but this one had me a little bit excited. Available now is Unseen by David Guymer which explores the dark world of Deathmaster Snikch...
"In the depths of the Drakwald forest, a group of mercenaries gather around the fire, drinking to ward off the chill of the night. But more than cold is waiting for them in the darkness, and soon they find themselves being stalked by a creature more deadly than they could ever have imagined... The Deathmaster is coming..."
Now this sounds like it could be a great line of novels about the deadly assassin of the Skaven. We heard a few years ago that Nathan Long (of Gotrek & Felix fame) was doing a Deathmaster novel too, so maybe this is all in aid of paving the way for a big novelisation?

It’s going to be interesting to see how Snikch comes across in this book. In the previous ones where he appears, it seems like he is somewhat competent.
The rest of the main Skaven characters all appear to be slightly comedic in their blundering (treachery); Thanquol with his books, and through them Queek and Skrolk have also appeared in a less than flattering light.
Not that I’m having a go at those previous books, but I can’t imagine that the tone in those books, could also be used for Snikch.

Il be happy when he gets a full novel, have no inclination to buy ebooks, or audio from GW, I like books not 200 page mini books Or 30 minutes long etc etc not a rant, just want value for my money 🙂
