Fearsome Khador Heroes Join Warmachine’s Old Umbrey

Steamforged Games are taking pre-orders for some new 35mm scale Warmachine miniatures for Khador and Old Umbrey. These are some fearsome heroes that unleash their rage on their enemies in a state of brutal ferocity!
Lord of The Hunt // Warmachine
Leading the way, we have the aptly named Lord of the Hunt. This is a new Solo for you to throw into your Old Umbrey army. This avatar of feral hunger is mounted on the back of a snarling Dire Wolf, ready to rip and tear their way through ranks of enemy soldiers.
The Lord of the Hunt was once a mortal champion who earned the favour of the Devourer Wurm and now rides into battle on their Warjack-sized Dire Wolf. They stalk their prey with precision and the Trophy Hunter special rule means that they get more deadly with every foe that they kill.
If you're looking for an assassin and character killer for your Old Umbrey army, this is the way for you to go. A great figure, especially when surrounded by even more of the hunting pack.
Kapitan Kazimir Morozov
The second of the characters for Old Umbrey is Kapitan Kazimir Morozov.
Kapitan Kazimir Morozov // Warmachine
This fellow is a new Warlock for Old Umbrey, bringing together martial might with the fury of the Wurm and dedication to the cause. He was once a soldier and a farmer but he has now embraced the primal power of the Devourer Wurm. This means that he can fight in human form...
Kapitan Kazimir Morozov - Human Form // Warmachine
...but also in his Shifted Form, switching from his railman's maul to a pair of twin mauls. This gives him more opportunities to shatter bones and crumple steel, meaning not even Warjacks are safe.
Kapitan Kazimir Morozov - Shifted Form // Warmachine
He can shift his form at will and even Awaken the Beast, which allows him to call other shapeshifters to his side on the battlefield. Another great way for you to reinforce the more feral nature of Old Umbrey and take Khador in a very different direction from the big, clanking Heavy Warjacks.
What do you make of these two feral killers?

I feel like old (PPress-era) Warmachine had a distinct style & flavor, but this new Steamforged era just seems like a mishmash of GW-style “grimdark” mixed with World Of Warcraft style basic cartoon fantasy. I dunno, I remain unconvinced.
You and me both. Pre-MkIII Warmachine (before the Grymkin and Archons show up) is one of my favorite settings — kinda like a steampunk Shadowrun. Magic and tech, but a little more gritty and grounded than it became around the mid-MkIII point.
The new stuff has no visual cohesion. The Old Umbrey stuff is folk horror-y; the Dusk House Kallyss stuff looks like futuristic, almost Infinity-level sci-fi; and the trolls look like silly Disney cartoons. And every model is extremely “busy,” with way too much going on, way too many details on each model.
