Khador’s Old Umbrey Brings New Miniatures To Warmachine
May 23, 2025 by brennon
Even more miniatures are on the way from Steamforged Games for their 35mm Fantasy game, Warmachine. A couple of new Warlocks enter the arena via an interesting route as the forces of Khador introduce folks to Old Umbrey.
Kapitan Galina, Lissya the Winter Fox // Warmachine
Leading the way, we have the Khador Old Umbrey Battlegroup Box, which is led by Kapitan Galina, Lissay, the Winter Fox. This set features the deadly Winter Fox, who is an apex predator amongst the woodlands of the Khadoran forest. She comes bound to her two Warbeasts, the Primeval and Feral, who act as her hunting partners out in the terrible wilderness.
Khador Old Umbrey Battlegroup Box // Warmachine
The Battlegroup Box has been designed as a good way for you to get started with Khador Old Umbrey but it can also be used as a bolstering reinforcement that sits alongside the rest of the Old Umbrey collection. This introduces new Warlocks into the mix and a different approach to Warmachine with your Warbeasts rather than your clanking Warjacks.
If you do want to go big then you can also pick up the Khador Old Umbrey Battlegroup Box which gives you a new Warlock, Warbeasts and supporting units.
Bohdan Lesnoi, Apostle of the Witch // Warmachine
This set introduces Bohdan Lesnoi, Apostle of the Witch, who is a master manipulator looking to secure the ideals of the Old Witch and spread her word amongst the lands. Once again, he is a Warlock rather than a Warcaster and comes in a set alongside his bonded Warbeast, Strix as well as the three Chosen of the Witch.
Khador Old Umbrey Command Starter // Warmachine
The three miniatures that complete the set are Dawn, Zenith and Nightfall, who are seen as a terrifying trio and represent different aspects of the Old Witch's will. If you're looking to send your enemies packing, running scared through the woods, then this is going to be the set for you.
It's neat to see more from the world of Immoren, especially since it takes Khador in a different direction aesthetically. I also like that Steamforged Games continues to produce sets without duplications, so you can buy different packs and not have to worry about having spare miniatures.
Are you going to be picking up the Old Umbrey miniatures?

Khador get new evil Santa for a new edition.
I can’t remember the name of the old one but he’s upstairs somewhere, primered a shamefully long time
I have not been following 4th ed. very closely (as I am happy playing 3rd ed.) , but this is a significant departure from the 3rd edn, if Khador can also have Warlocks as well as Warcasters.
I see they are following the GW policy of “pointy bits everywhere, ready to snap at a moment’s notice.”
Eye catching, but hard to trust it in 3d printed resin. If this comes out in hips, definitely would give it a serious look.
omg this looks amazing. whats the stats?
