New Plastic Command Starters For Steamforged’s Warmachine!

Steamforged Games has announced two new hard plastic Command Starters for the 35mm Fantasy wargame, Warmachine. This adds to the Khador and Cygnar options that are already available for those wanting to dive in.

Foulblood's Armada Command Starter // Warmachine

Inside this set, you get to see Commodore Foulblood doing his thing alongside his crew of rum-addled Trollbloods!

"Dapper and murderous in equal measure, Commodore Foulblood’s every mad order is executed with swift efficiency by the towering Lochabash Brothers and his dead-eyed killer of a dire troll, Chum. Overhead, the raiding party’s pelican mascot-turned-bomber, Sully, delivers flaming death, while the diminutive pyg, Mr. Boggs, lets loose with his massive deck sweeper."

You get new miniatures for Commodore Foulblood, who acts as your Warlock, as well as Chum, your Character Warbeast. Foulblood is backed up by two Solos in the form of Mr Bogs and Sully, plus the Lochabash Brothers, who are a three-model Character Unit.

The second of the new plastic sets introduces another Warlock option for Warmachine.

Khymaera Shard Nocturnes Command Starter // Warmachine

The Khymaera Shard Nocturnes Command Starter comes with some excellent new miniatures that we've seen as 3D printable figures already (the same goes for Foulblood's crew), but now available as hard plastic figures.

"Abhorrent Aklyss masks their approach with clouds of acrid haze, while Regulus slips by unseen within the chaos. Aided by Pythia’s arcane acuity, this pack of master assassins track, locate, and dispatch prey with their inescapable blades."

This set comes with the Warlock Vallyx, Fate's Eclipse, as well as another Character Warbeast in the form of Aklyss. You also have two Character Solos in the form of Pythia and Regulus, plus another three-model Character Unit in the form of the Shades.

It's great to see these miniatures popping up in hard plastic, and I'm sure this is going to be the gateway into Warmachine that a lot of folks have been seeking. Talking of getting into the game, all of the rules and lore will be available on the Warmachine App, which you can download right now.
