Steamforged Games are expanding the options that wargamers have to play with for their 35mm Fantasy skirmish game, Warmachine. Old Umbrey gets some fearsome and feral additions to their ranks, many of which you'd want to avoid when the moon is full!

Old Umbrey Ursine Shifted // Warmachine

We start with a new solo option for Old Umbrey in the form of the Ursine Shifted. This new addition to your collection acts as a proper guardian and shifts into this more violent form when things are at their worst. As noted by Steamforged, this might mean that you can snatch victory from the jaws of defeat!

There is also this second miniature for the Old Umbrey Ursine Shifted.

This is another of the cool miniatures representing the Shifted and acts as another variant based on the Shifted we saw first. So, if you're looking to introduce a couple of different Shifted into your ranks, then you can pick up this miniature and avoid the copycat problem!

I am a big fan of all of these were-creatures for Old Umbrey but I think my favourite has to be this fellow, the Old Umbrey Ursine Apex.

This miniature represents those who have given themselves over to the power of the Wurm and lost their humanity. This has turned them into deadly defenders of their homeland in the process making them hulking killers that should be able to rend their way through the ranks of the enemy with ease.

There is no turning back for a warrior like this but it does mean that their homeland will be secure under their snarling gaze. Another awesome Solo for you to throw into the mix.

New Liegemen Sets

As well as the snarling Ursine, you can also get your hands on some new Liegemen sets that will help to bulk out the rank and file within your Old Umbrey force. Charging into battle, you have the Ursan Champion.

Ursan Champions, as you might imagine by their title, take command of the Liegemen on the battlefield. They are no slouches in combat themselves, riding into battle on the backs of fearsome bears, coordinating attacks, then rushing forth to smash through enemy ranks. You can't have an Ursan Champion without some more cavalry to lead into battle. Well, Steamforged Games has you covered with the Old Umbrey Liegemen Ursans.

These old cavalrymen have found themselves some new mounts following the collapse of the region. These bears have been tamed using primal magic and have become bonded to their new riders, giving them a more savage fighting style. They carry scatterguns, which can soften up the ranks of the enemy before the bears charge in and finish the job.

Sticking with guns, we also have the Liegemen Hunters, who are the old scouts of Umbrey, called out to fight once more.

Whilst the rest of your force charges headlong into battle, the Liegemen Hunters are going to be watching from the treeline and eliminating threats before they even know what has hit them. They are drawn from the finest scouts and best shots within Khador's western provinces and will often act independently from the rest of your force. They carry heavy hunting rifles, which will do the job every single time.

The miniatures look stunning and I really like the more primal vibes for these Khadorians. All of the talismans and fur is a real hit and should be super fun to paint.

Get The Auxiliary Expansion
