So I have to ask, what is with all the chicken love lately? We had Wyrd's Gremlin Rooster, and we just had on the Weekender the Baba Yaga's house made out of a giant rooster and now White Knight's Miniature Imperium has shown us some examples of a rooster that their halflings can ride instead of dwarven ponies.

I don't know about you, but if I saw the enemy riding towards me on the back of a chicken, I might just laugh myself to death. I can honestly say this is a very interesting concept and the sculpts are pretty nice, I can say there are many games I could use these in.

There is a rule set called Shortwars that these can be used in. I would use them in my mass battle fantasy game and I bet I would get a few looks from other players at the LGS. Heck, I still chuckle looking at these, seriously chickens for war mounts?

Seems really silly, but I do remember the rooster we used to have, he was one mean cuss, so maybe these are not a bad choice after all.

What is the most unusual character in your armies?
