Nice to see some PP painted up. Maybe its the camera but their models – in particular their flesh tones on things like Nids, seem to be under shaded. Its probably just personal preference, but I prefer a bid deeper shade on the skin folds / muscle indentions. Wonder if they used the P3 line of paints for this. This guy is so frequently chuffed, I’m wondering if he doesn’t need some ointment or something. I mean he did say “If I can get it up on the camera?” at one point. Is this what he means by chuffed? Wow… Read more »
Those are simply awesome.
Legion of Everbilght are both fun to play and great models. Pretty much the glass cannons of Warmachine/Hordes. They play fast and are amazingly good killers. Stealth does work on them (none of them have eyes). You at Worthy Painting did a great job with the models!
By the way, I liked the little clumps of purple flowers. Where did you get them?
Can anyone tell me how much it cost to paint the Warmachine figures?
Excellent tabletop standard!
Clean painting (IMHO the single most important painting skill to get), basic highlighting/shading, some form of coherent basing, and balanced color schemes tying the different units together.
I wish more people would train themselves to reach this level (instead of aspiring to be the next Angel Giraldez only to give up disappointed, two steps into painting).
I dunno brother, this is pretty much professional grade. I doubt 20% of the peeps playing this game could hit this level. I mean by definition these guys are pro painters.
The blue edge highlight is not a style I like but it is well done here. Very nice set of painted figures that id happily have in my Hordes collection- Id love to see a Trollblood commision.
see the hordes and warmachine forums for more info on game/s (im loving it)
They look rather nice. I always like free hand work on models.
Ok for tabletop quality. Can’t see any depth in the finished paintwork which is a little disappointing imho. The skin just looks like it has been under coated and the edging is pretty basic, but hey, that may just have been what was requested or all that could have been budgeted for.
