After dipping their toes into the board game waters with Darkness Comes Rattling, Wyrd Games is excited to announce that two new board games are in the works!

Wyrd bayou board game

Fans of the Bayou's Gremlins of Malifaux will be happy to hear that the first project involves them. Bayou Bash is a racing board game for up to five players featuring the fan favourites, Gremlins, out of control animals and underhanded combat. But it's not just a first to the finish wins sort of game, it's the player that attracts the largest crowd following throughout the race.

War Of The Spirits

These fans will line the sides of the track and can, therefore, be taken out accordingly - hence the underhanded play. If this idea wasn't cool enough, Darkness Comes Rattling will be getting its first expansion, War of the Spirits.

Wyrd war of the spirit animals

I was super impressed with narrative, RPG-esque game-play to this game, and this expansion will continue to add to the story line with two new Warriors and their spirit animals, as well as the Spirit Realm to offer players even more challenges along the way.

Release dates are not known yet, but you can get involved in play testing by getting into the Wyrd forums.

Will you be participating in some Gremlin racing?
