Roll New Armour Onto The Battlefield For This Quar’s War

More lovely new plastic kits are now available from Wargames Atlantic for This Quar's War! A couple of new 28mm scale armoured vehicles can be snapped up right now for use alongside your Crusader and Coftyran armies.

Crusader Ailthean Tractor // This Quar's War

Both of the kits that you'll see here have been designed by Joshua Qualtieri, the creator of This Quar's War and then sculpted by him as well. They have then been turned into nifty new plastic kits by the Wargames Atlantic folk for use in your games alongside the rest of the plastic miniatures available for the game!

We lead with the Ailthean Light Armoured Tractor for the Crusaders. Cramped, tight, hot and deafening, you'll often see the crew of one of these hanging out of the hatches or on the hull to avoid the terrible conditions within these vehicles.

They are usually deployed as support for infantry units, scouting ahead and screening your troops as you march into battle. The main gun is loaded with high-explosive shells and smoke but you can also use it against infantry should you desire. Protection trumps speed with its design, as you can probably see, making it a rumbling wall of metal which can be hard to displace if it ends up in the right place.

If you prefer the Coftyran forces, then you can also get your hands on the Coftyran Chyweethl Tractor.

No turret is required here for this particular armoured behemoth and instead, the main gun is mounted right into the front of the machine. This does mean that the driver, commander and gunner have to work together to make it effective on the battlefield, steering into position before taking a shot. Much like with the Ailthean Tractor, the Chyweethl isn't great at manoeuvring but it can make good ground over tough terrain. Just don't put it on a slick road or cobbles.

Another impressive miniature for the growing This Quar's War range. It's nice to see that more and more plastic kits are coming out to support the game, making it easier than ever for you to dive in and start playing.
