As an update to this project I’ve decided on a color scheme that makes me less apprehensive than I initially thought I might be. Saffron is the color for this army.

I’ve concluded that I’ll be using NOVA Orange from Pro Acryl as the primary paint. The desaturated color isn’t loud like other ones but it is strong and stable enough to hold its own when considering my palette.

I feel as though a compliment with everpresent desaturated green is best overall. When I look at the colors together it melds like lentils and pistachios might in a market stall. To go crazy on the elephant blanket for a centerpiece model later is mandatory but I’ll put some more thought into design.
