Ok this may have been filmed a while ago. But this is still valid. Darrell and Warren have a look at combating armies using drop pods and razorbacks in Warhammer 40k
Hey guys – got a question for you all. Really kinda of a nit-picky, so I need to REAL literal help with this one…
Recently I got help from a manager at a Games Workshop store and built a sternquard/drop pod army for my Blood Raven’s. When he explained a drop pod tactic to me which seemed awesome at the time till I used the tactic at another Games Workshop store.
My question is: Can a drop pod “initially” target a enemy unit – and inertial guidance off it so it can deploy my sternguard near the unit and rapid fire them? The first games workshop said this was a legitimate attack while another store disputes this. When I looked up the rules for deepstrike – their a little vague on this… Please help, thanks!
