First up, fantastic idea for a thread @Gaz 🙂

The new OTT crew have done a stellar job! I have loved every moment of every interview and reveled in the surprising numbers of game companies and amazing games I had never heard of! A couple of wonderful such companies and games were Queen Games with Luxor, Haba with Rhino Hero, not to forget Ospreys Wildlands.

I agree the Blue Room coverage was professional, while also being relaxed, informative, and entertaining. I loved hearing each game designer or representative gives us insights into their creation. OTT has made its mark as the number one gaming convention coverage organization globally, you guys are that good!  Also a big thumbs up to ex-BoW team member Az for being an outstanding front person for Mythic. You must miss him. A little. Maybe. 🙂

I think the On Table Top branding makes everything more family friendly and approachable to new people than our beloved Beasts of War. Just like not all gamers like Warhammer 40k, not everyone is attracted to words like Beast and War. The gaming community is so much broader than it used to be as we can see in the amazing variety of products and services at the UKGE that our dedicated crew of OTTers have Vlogged for our viewing pleasure. You are on a great new path and I applaud your vision.

Is there anything I see that could be better or needs improvement – sure, but mainly it is small things that are spit and polish that are really refining what is being done well and making it better. I noticed one of the team had a tendency to repeat the same phrase when interviewing people as if they were just waiting to ask the next set question rather than intuitively listening to the person being interviewed and considering tailoring their questions based on the information received. Also I believe it was mentioned sometimes that some products missed getting camera time they deserved during vendor stand interviews. Again these are minor things and overall I was absolutely amazed at the scope and professionalism of the OTT coverage.

I can’t wait to see what you guys and gals get up to next. I feel very proud on you behalf! 😀
