You can easily create a enclosure and secure it.  This is for a Prusa Mk3 but you can adapt this to any printer by using a larger version of the table that Ikea has available or build your own.  Making it safe is easy.  While my children will be both off to college next year, I have smaller nieces and nephews so I still have to keep the house safe.
