@evilstu thanks for that mate, I never thought to try flow improver. I have a feeling that should be enough as the heat here isnt as extreme as you get and certainly doesnt last long.

I’ve never used the Army Painter dips before, just the inks, but after seeing your before and after pics I might get a pot and see how I get on with it. So is it actually a Varnish? I usually use a Satin spray Varnish and then a coat of Anti-Shine (unless i want a glossy wet look effect), so if I use the dip would I still need the coat of Satin? (while I know of the dips, I know naff all about them or how to use them)
