About the IP dispute, Prodos is on record stating that this is because some of the images used were not approved properly by Fox and they were obliged by Fox to remove the images. The problem was that Kickstarter does not allow the changing of any content in the campaign after is is concluded, and the only recourse to not show the images in question was to IP strike their own kickstarter.

It actually sounds plausible given the draconic nature of both Fox’s licensing division and the Kickstarter company. Talk about your irresistible force vs the immovable object.
