Hi All!

Believe it or not, I spent five hours over the last two days trying to stick some plasticard edging on the sides of these two boards. It’s really fiddly work. I then sprayed some touch-ups on the plasticard, and painted the edge, which is white where it was cut (wasted too much spray paint cutting it up and then spraying it).

I put a wash on the old cobble, but it’s been humid and rainy the whole day and it still hasn’t dried. All I have left to do is drybrush the cobble and flock the works. I’ll likely deliver the boards to my LGS on Wednesday. After this I have the four slope boards to edge and flock. They’re already built.

I’ve really lost my drive for this project, as I recently took stock of all the terrain I’ve donated to the store to date. It’s all smashed up, and I’m at a loss as to what to do about it. Seems there’s no respect for the terrain if it’s not theirs, and no one appreciates the work that went into it… sigh. I may float a repair fee to the manager, and perhaps suggest a damage deposit for premium terrain i.e. mine!

The cabinet got four rattle cans of aerosol love. I just need to pick up casters for it, as it’s going over the hatch to our crawl space, and we sometimes need to move it in a hurry when funnel clouds threaten.

@doctorether Some very nice work on those models, and your terrain really shows them off. Any chance of getting a few close-ups?

That Warcry stuff is really different! Looks like a fun paint project.

@Robert looks like you’ve got your work cut out for you this weekend, looking at all that German armour! Nurgling too?

@mage good to see on you here.  That’s some nice work on that bike. It looks like it’s seen some field time! Always liked the look of those landspeeders as well, but would prefer to see them with a canopy. Personal preference.

@oriskany Finally picked up a brush! Well, it’s not like you haven’t been doing amazing creative things the whole time. Vi really likes your mini’s. As you know, she’s collecting Old West 28’s from Knuckleduster… among other places. Thanks for the Panzer Leader links. It’s been a weekend full of other things, but I’ll get to them, probably tomorrow.

@unclejimmy do you have a battle report for us? I like the colour you put on those Traktor Muls… one anyone in the military is familiar with!

Art Garfunkel has a porn stache!

I like the chalk on the pool table. Nice touch. Antenocitis makes some awesome stuff. I have some of their resin/metal tanks, and will order more when I can afford them. Some will be converted to grav APC’s.

I picked up a cake decorator’s airbrush for $60 on Ebay, and it doesn’t have much in the way of pressure… kind of an aquarium sort of pump, but it seems to work just fine.

Those satellite dishes are epic!

Triggers: Sometimes a deer splattered all over the road will trigger that horrific days-old death smell. Gunfire makes me angry… irrationally so. I didn’t think I signed on for that either.

The local weather is likely a blip, but in the broader sense, I think global warming is a thing. We still shouldn’t rule out precession, and how our sun drifts along on the galactic plane in 26,000 year cycles, and how we are influenced by that. The Mayan long count calendar is amazing in that regard.

@skiptotheend What a great town! Do you have signs for those buildings, or are you going to freehand them. Very nice work. What’s wrong with the shop? It looks great!

I like your answer to Question 2. I’m with you.

Nice kitbash @dawfydd!

@sundancer That terrain is coming along nicely. It was great to see it from early on, and the progress you’ve made.

@yavasa Some very detailed work on those Warmachine figures! How did you battle with @oriskany go?

Have a good night, everyone!
