@sundancer I am right with you on the fora, I much prefer them to modern social media alternatives.

I have stayed away from discord because it’s primarily a chat program rather than a discussion platform – and I loves me a good old discussion… I can’t stay involved in a chat program for more than a few minutes because of work but a forum operates more slowly.

I also like the projects system but I don’t feel as though it gives the same level of visibility as fora

I occasionally comment on the Facebook posts the OTT crew make but they’re usually just throw away comments, a quick expression of opinion. They’re fun but they’re less meaty than forum topics.  Plus I am always more cautious on Facebook because I think it has a tendency to bring out the worst in people
