Happy Friday.

My pledge this week is to get the rest of the characters painted for the Drunes and the Earth Tribes for the Sláine game. I won’t finish them all in a weekend but hopefully it won’t be too late into next week.

After that I’ve only got the Fomorians to do, plus the character and that’s them all painted, until August when I get a whole load of new stuff from Warlord.

What is the longest wait for any order you put out? Kickstarter, pre orders at your FLGS…

My longest wait was for the Kickstarter exclusive stuff for the Dark Souls board game from Steamforge Games. I’d already sold everything else from the game for a year by the time I got the stuff (and I sold that soon after as well without even opening it).

Have you ever cancelled your order on something that took ages to arrive?

Yes. One example was a small site who’s stuff looked good so I ordered a single miniature. Months went by and I got zero response from my emails. I wasn’t too fussed about the possible loss in money, I just wanted my miniature. I eventually cancelled but he sent the miniature out anyway.

You do realize that 2022 is almost half done?

It’s true. Time speeds up the older you get (I’m 45). Except when I’m at work.
It’ll be 41 000 before you know it.
