Monday morning. Good. I think.

@horati0nosebl0wer Basic cooking isn’t hard. Like one of the most German dishes ever is BRATKARTOFFELN.

  • Dice an onion
  • Peel and slice potatoes (300g per serving, adjust to personal preference) Thinner slices make for faster cooking!
  • Crack some eggs in a bowl and stir
  • Have some grated cheese

How to cook:

  • Heat oil in pan (preferably one with a lid and high walls. Do not go higher than medium heat!
  • fry onions
  • add potato slices and close lid. Let cook until potatoes are done
  • remove lid and continue frying until the potatoes start to get brown crust
  • add egg and stir. Let sit until egg is done all over. Stir again
  • add cheese on top, put lid on for a few minutes.

Enjoy! Goes great with pickled cucumbers. For even more flavour add diced ham with the onions.
