@hutch hang in there. Loss of someone close always hits harder than you realise at first.
Yesterday I was unpacking one of the boxes that we had filled when my dad died. It had an embroidery of an animated series called “Nobody’s Boy: Remi” made by my mother. Tomorrow is Christmas and we used to get together for dinner. First time in what feels like forever I’ve got no plans. It’s going to be just another day off.

I don’t remember ever seeing the series itself.
I’ve got more boxes of my own stuff to unpack and there’s more to do still, but I’m not feeling it at the moment.
