Particularly apt release especially if you live in N.Ireland this time of year

 

These wars also known as Williamite Wars, Wars of the League of Ausberg and the Nine Years wars in the UK  They well be known by other names in other parts of Europe

I thought we were going to see models of firemen and scared council workers picking up tires 🙂

Aughrim is probably the most interesting and bloody battle of those that took place in Ireland, and the one I’d most like to research and build a force for.

Maybe if all  the police and council workers dressed up as King Billy and his troops they could remove the tyres in peace

To make it historically accurate, King Billy needs to have an asthma attack every time he crosses a puddle!

Back to the models, I do like the look of these, maybe when I get my tiny fantasy and my FoW stuff done I will look into this!
