Email notification

I just noticed that email notification on replies and new forum threads stopped working… is it just me or has anyone else that problem?

I got an email for a reply @oriskany left on one of my comments on a Lets Play. But the email said:

…”

Emails are being problematic at the moment, its a bit of a cat hearding excercise, as comment, forum and activity notifications are all separate systems and currently getting smacked with a big debugging stick….

Quick update on working email notifications:

• @mentions i.e. @sundancer in a comment or forum post should trigger a notification email
• Comment replies
• Friend Requests
• Private messages

Currently forum subscriptions and topic subscriptions are not working (along with associated things like forum digests)

Any progress on a resolution for this? I miss getting regular emailed updates about forum threads i was subscribed too.

@rekky actively working on it at the moment, won’t be too long till usual service is returned on the email front
