What magic is this? Is the forum back to “normal”?

Many moons ago, the WAYPN thread was monthly and new one created each month.  However, I think Discord is a better medium for that format of post.  Should we be focusing more on the Discord than the forum?

    IMHO, No. For multiple reasons:

    1. The forum thread is available to anyone on OTT/BoW. Discord needs an extra account, and some “more clicks” to get into Discord. And some members have made clear in the past: we don’t like discord
    2. As long as the forum remains, the WAYPN thread remains. The minute discord decides “to change stuff” all could be gone in the blink of an eye. (See Atomic Mass Games closes their discord server)
    3. In a forum thread you can also link directly to a project (if there is one)
    4. The forum is available instantly to any new member and browseable as discord server can be viewed by anybody on discord how has the invitation link to the OTT server. (Technically that means non-OTT members can see your work on discord without any control over it)
    5. Technically you can upload your picture to either the WAYPN thread OR a project and use that same picture again and again on OTT without uploading it a second or third time (you just need to copy the link to the picture in questions once it’s on OTT)
    6. Right of ownership. I’m pretty sure (though I haven’t checked OTTs Terms & Services) that your pictures here remain *your* pictures. Discord could, at any point (like Meta/Facebook/Instagram) decide: your upload is our property now)

    My two cents 🙂

What on earth did I step in? Pundancer!!! I’ll need to scrape my boots for a week to get this off.

As far as reinvigorating the stuff around here, I’m in.
