Check out @gamestop in store and online for clearance ones, you may find a few cheaper. Also, try traditional toy shops or toys r us or whatever chains you have for bargains or oddities 🙂

I have 4 of these things that people have bought me, my friends think I collect them but I really dislike the product. I like the gifts that I’ve recieved however I don’t like the product at all.

They’re over priced, cheaply made and something that’s “made to be collected” which is ironic to collecting something. Some of them have some very interesting characters but they’re really not my jam.

If they aren’t your jam thats cool, but I mean, for a product to be made on a scale like that it has to go to China for that kind of production. You could use the same argument against toys or GW models.

I think my main beef with them is that they’re mass produced to be collected, pop culture explosion.

My son was into subscription boxes for a while and got a few of them, my problem with them is basically they all look the same, big head small body and that’s it. One or two as a funny object sure I get that, any more and you’re into Beanie Baby territory and we all know what happened there!

And yes they are basically just a big corp hijacking Pop Culture order to make vast amounts of money.

I have a Hellboy, Pennywise from IT and a flying Ironan.

Good place to get cheap ones and some semi rare is Smyths toyshop.
