Nothing too crazy, but GW has indeed raised its prices. A loonie here, a toonie or two there: GW (Canada – out of Memphis), prices are UP.

Normal for the springtime to frolic through the fields and find the prices have risen when home, never before Christmas!

Guess the pickle is up and found early this year… 🥒

Yeah, not a huge surprise given the way the economy has gone globally this year. Our local shop sent out the changes list and it doesn’t seem too bad. But I suppose after this many years of being the frog in the pot, I’m not in a place to comment 😀

I have been tempted by Old World orientals because they look good, but resisted on grounds of no opponent and last thing I need is more stuff to paint.

Not bought anyhting from GW in couple of years unless you count the odd pot of contrast paint.

I view GW products the same way I do Japanese model kits. I buy them as they are fantastically detailed kits to build and paint. For gaming? Nope. Can’t afford that. There are much more reasonable, and simpler minis out there for that. GW games are awful though, in my opinion. Too much faff.

@pagan8th I picked up the Cathay release – all of it. I love what they did with whole release; someday, my commission will be done, and I’ll get to make that army.

Damn you @grantinvanman I had a look at the Grand Cathay as well and I was sold. The prices are pretty steep, but than I found a website (vliegeruit.com) in the Netherlands with old and discounted prices. So…. I went all in as well. So I yet again added to the pile of opportunity. I hope when I start this army, my buddy will finally finish his Tomb Kings army.
