Is it possible to change a username?

Is it possible to change my username? I’ve tried doing so in ‘Profile’ > ‘Edit’ > ‘Real name’ and initially the change seemed to have happened but upon refreshing the username reverted back. I tried logging out and back in too.

I don’t think you actually can do that because the underlying CMS uses the username to address all your posts. I think you need an admin to change your username. But I may be wrong.

T-Squared have toggled switches pulled gits and choked hubs and alas it is not possible at this time

Perhaps an alias or nickname system could be added in? Not a perfect solution, but that way it might be able to change the name that appears on forums, ect. but the actual name tied to the account would be the same. Just a thought.

That’s not a bad interim fix i suppose @crazyredcoat, though i’d still want the username change eventually.
