My “Kilgore Death Cards” arrived – they are, ironically, from a shop in the UK that sells on Amazon! Epic Militaria @piers if you fancy a set. Quite nicely produced, they look exactly like the ones in the movie.

I did the pre-order, and asked for my copy to be delayed to end of September, which was of course a few weeks ago.
Sent an email to Anita, no response.
Anyone have thoughts?

October 12, 2024 at 9:51 am #1897955@grantinvanman nope, got nothing yet.
I must admit that I didn’t pay attention to the actual release date when I pre-ordered.Maybe I should have done that?
I suspect there’s a tiny delay of some kind.It would be nice to have an update, but then this is kind of part of the risk of pre-orders too. Things don’t always go according to plan.
October 12, 2024 at 2:57 pm #1897958Thanks @limburger – wasn’t sure if my request to get it after my trip was the reason or if it was slow in general.
October 12, 2024 at 5:42 pm #1897975I’ll answer my own question, found this by doing a bit more digging
uote
‘Nam 68 Tour of Duty’ is printed and on its way to PSC HQ. We hope to be shipping these out to the Boonies next week!
Once all backers have their deluxe hardbacks, we will set up the print on demand option!October 12, 2024 at 8:28 pm #1897978nice 🙂
that’s the downside of pre-orders.
Unlike kickstarters there’s no way to get updates to customers in a way that everyone sees it, unless they were to mail everyone.
When I saw that battlesystems kickstarter had a ship need 10 instead of the usual 5 weeks to go from A to B I kind of figured that would affect more companies as I doubt only one ship was affected (and those ships are huge anyway).
anyways … a few more weeks, which may give me time to find a store selling those Rubicon Vietnamese and marines that would be useful in this game.
And it’s terrain challenge …

October 23, 2024 at 4:00 pm #1899881October 23, 2024 at 4:30 pm #1899905@piers HOORAY! Can’t wait to get mine. Should be … soon? Maybe?
I just ordered a whole lotta TAG Marines with M14s, and I have a 1/48 Choctaw to get them around.
October 23, 2024 at 6:28 pm #1899907Really looking forward to checking it out when mine arrives @piers I’m not rushing into playing as I’m trying to get through the project backlog it but cant wait to give it a read though.
October 23, 2024 at 7:04 pm #1899908I haven’t heard a peep either … but then unexpected delays can happen.
At least we now know the physical copies are out there, so shipping to customers is bound to happen ‘soon’.
Almost can’t wait to get my hands on my copy 😀
October 23, 2024 at 7:51 pm #1899910Shipping this week and into next week @limburger
