I only found about the sad passing of Pete Knifton while listening to a BB podcast earlier in the week. For those that aren’t aware, Pete’s art work featured very heavily in the early editions of Blood Bowl and through a lot of the early 40k material. Following on from last weekend’s XLBS and the inspirational art topic, Pete’s representations of the players, teams, fans and action in BB, for me, epitomises the game. Without Pete’s work, there would be no BB (at least not for me).
Another legend of the gaming industry leaves us.
