So my 28mm Napoleonic project stalled.

So I’ve been trying to get loads of 28mm stuff painted.  But hit the wall.  So thought I’d try 6mm instead.  Since then on the table are 1510 painted figures.  That would take a lifetime to paint.  And I’ve loads more to go.  But they are so easy to paint.  I think I’m becoming a 6mm convert.

Is this for black powder or are you using another set of rules

I have a number of rules I fancy trying.  I mounted the line infantry on 25x25mm bases and put 8 figures to a base.  6 bases to a battalion with 3 more bases of skirmishes out front.  So it gives me flexibility in choosing the rules.  Cavalry I bases 3 on each base and 6 bases to a regiment.

How far did you get with your 28mm Napoloenics? If you have a modest amount you could still be able to use them for Sharpe Practice.

I painted about 200+ bases in 6s. But found it quite tedious to be honest.  Which such big figures you need to paint more of the straps etc.  Where as in 6mm it’s not as much needed.
